Terms and Conditions

A non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your wedding date and time.  If in the even that your wedding is postponed, your retainer maybe used for another date if available.  If Michael Howard is booked for the new date, Michael Howard reserves the right to fulfill your new date with another professional photographer.  However, Michael Howard will do everything possible to complete your contract as agreed and arranged.  If in the event of a cancellation, Michael Howard reserves the right to withhold any and all refunds.

Any balances that remain after the wedding must be paid in full prior to the receiving of wedding portraits.

All checks are to be made out to: Michael Howard Photography 

All checks that are returned for non-payment (i.e. NSF or closed account) will be assessed a $40.00 fee and returned check(s) must be paid by certified check or USPS money order prior to your wedding day.  A non-payment or returned check could result in services being canceled or postponed till payment is made.

Prices do not reflect Florida sales tax which is currently 6%.  Prices are subject to change without notice.

Late Weddings:  

Timeliness is imperative in all of our wedding packages.  In some cases, our photographers or our Officiants have other events planned after your wedding and must leave in order to fulfill their other obligations.  Should you begin your wedding late, we will do all that we can to finish your wedding as arranged.  Overtime will be charged as needed if available.  No refunds will be given should our professionals need to leave and your wedding or event is not completed as contracted.  If you know in advance and we are contacted prior to your wedding that you will be late, this will allow us the opportunity to make other arrangements to fulfill the obligations to our other clients.

Weather:

Michael Howard Photography LLC and Sun-Touched Weddings can not be held responsible for any reason due to adverse weather conditions or other weather related issues that affect the quality of your wedding or wedding photographs.  In the event of rain and the concern of the cameras electronics, Michael Howard reserves the right to stop photographing the wedding in the event of rain or other adverse weather conditions until clearing conditions occur, or a secondary wedding location is secured.  In the event of rain or other adverse weather condition, Michael Howard Photography LLC will do its best to complete your wedding package as contracted without the need for charging overtime.  Should your wedding be canceled or delayed due to weather, Michael Howard will do all it can to complete your wedding package as contracted at the next available or rescheduled date.  There are no refunds for weather, however Michael Howard Photography LLC will work with you to reschedule to a new date if available.  Should your wedding be delayed due to a State ordered evacuation such as a hurricane or other natural disaster, Michael Howard Photography LLC and Sun-Touched Weddings will perform the wedding as contracted at the next available date.  If the wedding is canceled by the client due to such an event, all monies collected are not refundable.

Printable Terms

These terms are in addition to your regular wedding contract.  This written agreement is a statement of our additional acknowledgements to the client and must be signed at the time of the weddings contract and agreement.

Late Starting Weddings:

Timeliness in starting your wedding is imperative in all of our wedding packages.  In some cases, myself, our photographers or our Officiants have other events scheduled after your wedding and must leave in order to fulfill their other obligations. 

1)      Should you begin your wedding late, we will do all that we can to finish your wedding as arranged.  However, if overtime is needed for your wedding and our photographers or our Officiants are available to stay at your wedding or event, overtime will be charged at a rate of $100.00 per hour beginning 30 minutes after your scheduled start time and balances will be due at the time of the shipping or receiving of your wedding images.  

2)      Should you begin your scheduled wedding late and Michael Howard Photography LLC and Sun-Touched Weddings must leave your event, NO Refunds will be given and your wedding package will be considered completed as previously contracted. 

No refunds will be given should our professionals need to leave as a result of your wedding or event beginning late and your wedding or event is not completed as contracted. 

If you know in advance that you will be delayed and we are contacted prior to the start of your wedding that you will be delayed, this will allow us the opportunity to make other arrangements if possible to fulfill the contract to you and to meet the obligations of our other clients as needed.

Extra Hours or Overtime Information:

Extra hours are provided for $100.00 per hour for each needed hour if time is available.  If you have already paid for a package in full and extra time is needed during your wedding, your new balance will be due prior to the receiving or shipping of your wedding pictures. 

Rescheduled or Postponed Weddings or Services:

If your wedding or other retained service is rescheduled or postponed for any reason by you the client and a new date is secured, your wedding package is transferable to the new rescheduled date.  If Michael Howard is personally scheduled for that new date, Michael Howard Photography LLC reserves the right to hire a secondary photographer to fulfill your wedding package and contract.  No refunds will be given for rescheduled weddings if Michael Howard is personally scheduled for your date and time by another client and Michael Howard Photography LLC is able to fulfill your wedding package as contracted with a secondary photographer and the client chooses not accept our replacement photographer.

Early Cancellation of Wedding or Services:

If you the client cancel your wedding or other retained service within 120 to 60 days prior to your wedding date and no new wedding date is chosen, only your original retainer up to $100.00 for services is refundable.

Late Cancellation of Wedding or Services:

If you the client cancel your wedding or other retained service for any reason within 60 days of your wedding date and no new date is to be chosen; only 25% (twenty-five percent) of your original retainer is refundable.  All other monies received are non-refundable.

Total Cancellation of Wedding or Services:

If you the client cancel your wedding or other retained service for any reason within 30 days of your wedding date and no new date is to be chosen; no refunds will be given including your original retainer.
